There are two fantastic looking films coming out in January based on teen fiction. ok I’m more than a bit excited…I’ve just watched the trailer for Inkheart and it looks fantastic! When I was reading the book -it really made me question the darker side of writing, inventing a character who is everything dark and evil and then discovering he could come alive, ArG! Imagine the guilt, if he kills does that make you a murderer, accessory??? I hope the film is just as magical. www.inkheartmovie.com
Also there's Twilight, It’s a lurve story between a high school girl and the weird boy at school –who turns out to be a vampire! The book is brilliant. I read the first 3 in the series back to back in one week! I was seriously desperate until the next book comes out, and now I have spotted it in C2C. Imagine how happy-making that is :-) Check out the trailer for the film… www.twilightthemovie.com

i'll go and see twilight with you, definitely...i've only read the 1st in the series and i really liked it...it's proper teen fiction! only criticism i had was that i wished the main character ( bella?) had had a bit more backbone, but then she IS being seduced by a vampire, so maybe that's fair enough!
Cool, it's a plan! I'm also taking my reading group to see it and going with staff from school. Mmm I wonder if it will be good the third time round? You have to go on the Quizilla site and do the twilight quiz - it tells you which character from the book you would be...I'm doing mine with the gang on Thursday, will let you know. Am I going to be a good / bad vampire, a human, a werewolf? OOH the choices!
Hi Moira and Julie, I have just bought the 4 in the "Twilight" series from C2C, and it looks good. What age range would you say it's for? Up till now I haven't been 'into' vampires - might this series make me change my mind??!!
i've only read the 1st in the series, and i would say its aimed at s3/4 pupils, but an able s2 could handle it too. that said, i think its also a 'crossover' book, so s5 and s6 and staff would probably enjoy it. so i'm basically saying it suits everyone! i'm also not a huge vampire fan, but i really liked this book!
Ok, thanks for the comments on "Twilight" - it seems to be for everyone, so will put the series on display and see who borrows it the most!!!
